We're seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Engineer in Arizona. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Some key responsibilities you oversee:
Apply extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices across diverse project areas, providing technical guidance to civil engineering designers and specialists
Conduct in-house quality assurance reviews of staff work prior to management reviews
Collaborate closely with clients to address engineering design queries and resolve issues promptly
Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production, codes, and established design standards
Direct and perform the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for various projects
Job requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona (we're seeking a certified Project Engineer but we also value candidates who possess extensive experience as a designer, capable of performing engineering duties at an advanced level).
At least 3-5 years of Project Engineer experience in the field of civil engineering including drainage, water, utility, and pipeline design
Proficiency in using Civil3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS software programs
Experience producing construction plans and documents from start to finish including survey data processing and base map development, utility research and conflict identification
Additional Skills:
Strong leadership and project management abilities
Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work within specified deadlines
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of engineering ethics and professionalism
