We're seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Engineer in Arizona. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Some key responsibilities you oversee:

  • Apply extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices across diverse project areas, providing technical guidance to civil engineering designers and specialists
  • Conduct in-house quality assurance reviews of staff work prior to management reviews
  • Collaborate closely with clients to address engineering design queries and resolve issues promptly
  • Ensure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production, codes, and established design standards
  • Direct and perform the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents and permit applications for various projects

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona (we're seeking a certified Project Engineer but we also value candidates who possess extensive experience as a designer, capable of performing engineering duties at an advanced level).
  • At least 3-5 years of Project Engineer experience in the field of civil engineering including drainage, water, utility, and pipeline design
  • Proficiency in using Civil3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS software programs
  • Experience producing construction plans and documents from start to finish including survey data processing and base map development, utility research and conflict identification
