Some major responsibilities you're in charge of:

  • Developing and managing the operating processes used to complete projects and the details of the projects
  • Preparing, coordinating, and monitoring several projects at the same time, keeping the projects and the teams on task
  • Planning and forecasting budgets and timelines
  • Performing quality control measures and procedures to ensure all stages of the schedule and budget are kept, deadlines are met, and the team’s performance is up to standard
  • Assigning tasks and responsibilities to members of the team
  • Communicating with team members, senior management, and clients
  • Ability to identify all internal and external resources required to complete any given project successfully
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team members about every aspect of the project


You’re gonna need these requirements and skills to carry out the job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the state of California
  • At least 7-10 years of project management and engineering experience
  • An expert using Civil3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS software programs
  • Understanding of applicable design codes
  • Excellent report/technical writing ability
  • Time Management
  • Environmental permit application preparation and negotiation
